Our Staff at Precious Angel’s Child Center
We employ people who are; warm and nurturing, understand child developement, can apply their knowledge in the classroom, and respect each child as an individual. We seek employees who value working as a team with parents, colleagues, and volunteers.
We require from staff, prior to employment, references from previous employers, a police background check, fingerprints, and Department of Children, Youth and Families background check.
Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN)
Our school has a Registered Nurse (RN) on staff. She or he will be assessing the wellness, nutritional status, growth and development of the children enrolled in the School. She or he will also be responsible for making sure that all children enrolled in the school have updated physical and immunization forms.
Continuing education is an important part of working at Precious Angel’s Child Center. Each staff member is required to have ongoing training in various areas of Childhood Education and Childhood Health. The following are the degrees our staff members need to have:

Head Teacher: Teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, BA degree.

Lead Teacher: Associates Degree and/or Bachelor Degree, and/or Child Development Associates (CDA).

Teacher Assistant: Associates Degree and/or CDA, and/or have experience in the field of Early Childhood while working towards a degree.

All Staff: are required to be CPR and First-Aid certified, must complete 20 hours of professional development through workshops and seminars on a yearly basis.
